Over a weekend you'll become more familiar with how to cook and spice the Eastern way - you'll cover curry, samosas, chapattis, chutney and many other tasty delicacies available in Indian restaurants. Learn how to cook exotic dishes of the Sub-continent, presented in a simple fashion. The Weekend includes morning (optional) yoga, relaxation and meditation. Two nights accommodation, all classes (incl. yoga), all meals, return ferry crossing to the beautiful wooded Inis Rath Island and free parking on the mainland are all included in the package. A recent authoritative report published by the World Watch institute, authors Goodland and Anhang concluded that over 51% of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions come from Livestock.

Frontpage of U.K. Times newspaper, 27th October - Climate chief Lord Stern: give up meat to save the planet

People will need to consider turning vegetarian if the world is to conquer climate change, according to a leading authority on global warming.

In an interview with The Times, Lord Stern of Brentford said: “Meat is a wasteful use of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”
